Analytics
ErasureFan uses Google Analytics only after you choose “Accept analytics.” It helps us understand which pages people visit and whether readers sign up for email updates, follow a retailer link, or use the contact page. If you decline, analytics remains off and the site still works normally. You can change your choice at any time through “Privacy choices” in the footer.
Email updates
The signup form asks for your email address and, optionally, your first name. You must confirm your address before joining the list. We use this information only to send ErasureFan updates and manage your subscription. We do not sell the list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, page address, subject, and message you provide. We use that information to read and respond to your correction, rights concern, technical problem, or feedback.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, the hosting and security systems may record IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and requested pages. These logs are used to keep the site reliable, prevent abuse, and investigate technical or security problems.
Retailer links
Some retailer links are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase, ErasureFan may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. See the Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Your choices
To ask what information you have submitted, correct it, or request its deletion, use the contact form and include the relevant email address. Information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, legal requirements, or site security.
