ErasureFan is an independent publication and reference desk for people who want to spend more time with Erasure and less time sorting through duplicated track lists, vague collector claims, and unsourced rumor.
What we publish
The site has two distinct jobs. The Discography records verifiable facts: release dates, labels, track lists, formats, edition notes, credits, and primary-source links. The Field Guides make judgments: where a new listener should begin, which compilation solves which problem, and when an expanded edition earns the extra shelf space.
Those jobs are deliberately kept separate. A release date is not an opinion. A recommendation is. Readers should always be able to tell which kind of statement they are reading.
Our sourcing standard
Erasure HQ and the official Erasure site are the first stop for current announcements and release information. Label pages and MusicBrainz are used as supporting references when appropriate. Every catalog record names its sources and the date it was checked. News posts link to the original announcement and state what has not been confirmed when that distinction matters.
ErasureFan does not publish invented release dates, anonymous tour rumors, or social-media repetition dressed up as reporting. If official information is incomplete, the page says so.
Images and independence
Album-page images are ErasureFan editorial illustrations, not official sleeves. They are labeled that way on the page and in structured data. ErasureFan is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Erasure, Andy Bell, Vince Clarke, management, labels, publishers, or official rights holders.
Corrections
A reference site is only useful if it can be corrected. If a date, credit, format, link, or description is wrong, use the contact form and include the page URL and a reliable source. Material corrections are prioritized over cosmetic changes.
