The editorial read

Why Tomorrow’s World matters

Tomorrow’s World places Erasure with Frankmusik and lets the production announce the collaboration. The surfaces are bright, compressed, and deliberately contemporary to 2011; the question is how Bell and Clarke’s melodic instincts behave inside that pressure.

“When I Start To (Break It All Down)” and “Be with You” are the cleanest answers. “A Whole Lotta Love Run Riot” pushes the scale further, while the nine-track sequence keeps the experiment from exhausting itself.

The album has a useful live companion in Tomorrow’s World Tour: Live at the Roundhouse. Hearing the material on stage separates the songs from the production signature that first introduced them.
