Inside World Beyond

World Beyond keeps the ten songs and running order of World Be Gone, then removes the electronic frame that first held them. Echo Collective’s arrangements do not make the material grander by default; they expose pauses, friction, and vulnerable edges that the original’s controlled surfaces contain differently.

“Be Careful What You Wish For” becomes less of a warning delivered over machinery and more of a chamber confrontation. “A Bitter Parting” and “Take Me Out of Myself” benefit from the extra air. The brighter “Love You to the Sky” has to find lift without its original propulsion.

Do not choose between the two versions. Play them in sequence. The value of World Beyond lies in hearing composition, voice, and arrangement separate from one another and then lock back together.
