The Crown Jewels turns Ten Crowns into a four-disc archive
Andy Bell released The Crown Jewels on December 12, 2025 as a limited four-CD expansion of Ten Crowns. The official announcement specified 4,000 copies.
The organization is the useful part. Disc one expands the studio album with four bonus tracks, including “Xanadu” and the Tim Rice-Oxley collaboration “The Chance Won’t Come Again.” Disc two gathers Dave Audé’s extended versions of all ten album tracks. Disc three hands each track to a different remix approach, including Vince Clarke’s remix of “Dance for Mercy.” Disc four documents the tour with nine live performances.
Who it is for
This is not an Erasure career box and should not be bought as one. It is a deep, format-conscious document of one Andy Bell solo era. Listeners who only want the core record have Ten Crowns; listeners interested in how the same material changes across club, remix, and stage contexts are the audience for the box.
