Andy Bell’s Electric Blue expands to three vinyl discs
Andy Bell has announced Extended Blue, a 21st-anniversary edition of his 2005 solo album Electric Blue, for August 28, 2026.
The three colored-vinyl discs retain the original album and add six tracks associated with its singles: “Jump,” “Back Into the Old Routine,” “Little Girl Lies,” “Names Change,” “See the Lights Go Out,” and “The Rest of Our Lives.” The official announcement says these b-sides are appearing on vinyl for the first time.
The companion single
A separate pink-vinyl 12-inch is due August 14. It pairs new 2026 Manhattan Clique remixes of “Love Oneself” and “Delicious” with Andy Bell’s original versions, recorded before Claudia Brücken joined the released album performances.
This is an Andy Bell solo release
Electric Blue and Extended Blue are Andy Bell solo releases, not Erasure albums. The reissue is relevant here because it documents Bell’s parallel catalog while he and Vince Clarke are also working on the next Erasure studio project.
