Cowboy received its first expanded reissue
BMG released an expanded edition of Erasure’s 1997 album Cowboy on May 31, 2024. The two-CD hardback-book set places a new 2024 master of the album on disc one and archive material on disc two.
The second disc includes b-sides, remixes, live material, demos, and previously unreleased items. The official announcement identifies it as the album’s first reissue since the original release.
Why it is useful
